With the beautiful sun now shining nice a bright (most days) it is the perfect time to buy a new pair of sunglasses. My daughter is obsessed with sunglasses, “glasses” as she affectionately them. She never leaves home without them on, in fact she will even wear them in the stores while shopping. Kids rocking sunglasses really is the cutest thing! Sunglasses aren’t only a fun accessory but they are an important piece of “gear” to protect your eyes. If you like to shop online there are some sites where you can choose how dark you want your tints and what colour you would like your tints to be. Our eyes are really important organs and sunglasses are a key way to protect them from the suns rays and glare. We were just sitting around a camp fire last night talking about how important sunglasses and eye care is especially when your around the water the sun glare is really strong reflecting off the water. I even learn’t something new while we were chatting. Did you know that leafy greens (spinach, kale) as well as blueberries and raspberries are important food for your eyes? I didn’t! Ive always heard its important to eat carrots for your eyes (which they are good for your eyes as well) but here I was sitting around a camp fire stuffing my face with s’mores and being educated about my eyes and what foods are good for them! So since we are talking about the importance of eye care and the fun accessory that sun glasses are, here are some glasses for the whole family!

I love that sunglasses are an accessory that you can spend a little or a lot on. Meaning you can own more than one pair and change them up daily to go with your outfits.  I enjoy the oversize glasses but I have rather small eyes so its not hard to find oversize glasses for myself.   I usually stick to tortoise shell although I am thinking for my next pair I will go with black. ( I just bought a new Valentino pair and they were Tortoise *surprise surprise* ) My daughter pretty much has enough glasses to wear a new pair each day and hers range in colour and shape.  I feel like guys generally don’t have to many different shapes in glasses but you have lots of variety in colour so you can always change them up that way. Where do you like to buy your sunglasses? Do you have a favourite colour or style of glasses?
