Playmobil is one of the most loved toys in our house by everyone – adults and kids. As a mom who suffers from OCD lego is like an arch nemesis for me and although my kids do love it when they play with it, it stresses me out especially with a baby in the house. Playmobil has been such a game changer for us! The kids still get to be hands on creative and build and put things together but its less messy, less little pieces and way more fun and interactive (in my opinion and since this my review my opinion is what counts). Recently my little man was sent the new Playmobil Tactical Unit and Helicopter and the smile and excitement when he opened that box can’t be properly explained in words. I told him he had to wait till daddy got home to actually open the boxes up in case he needed daddy’s expert building skills for assembly. Trust me when I say daddy didn’t even have his shoes off yet and he was asking to open those boxes. The helicopter was super easy to assemble, little man needed little help but the Tactical Unit was harder and he needed some assistance especially with the smaller pieces, but within 20 min he was done assembling both and everyone was choosing one of the figurines to play with. The helicopter comes with an officer in the dive suit who can use the winch to rappel down to the scene as well as a pilot to drive the helicopter. The helicopter comes with a working winch for cool rappelling action. After opening the cockpit, two figures can be inserted at the front. There’s also room for another passenger in the back. The tailgate and the two side doors can be opened. The helicopter set comes with complete diving equipment, such as diving helmet, scuba tank, removable diving jacket, double harpoon and underwater scooter. The tactical unit truck  features a removable roof and space for up to 4 figures which includes working lights and sounds. The roof and windshield of the cab can be removed with easy access to the interior which can hold up to 3 figurines and the cab has space for one figure. The tactical unit also has a working winch and the switch on the underside of the sound module can be used to switch between two different siren sounds. The lights and sounds will auto shut off after a certain amount of time. You can also fold down the stairs at the rear and a storage space for accessories becomes accessible.
