When our family grew from 1 to 2 children I found the transition fairly easy (I am not saying it is easy just for myself it wasn’t hard) but like I have mentioned on here before going from 2 to 3 babies was challenging. My babies are very close in age (15 and 22 months apart) so having 3 children 3 and under proved to be a lot harder than I thought it would be. The biggest challenge when having 3 little people is you all of a sudden are out numbered. It is no longer 2:2 ratio (2 children/2 parents). Suddenly I didn’t have enough hands for all my little people. We are a very active family I like to keep busy during the day while daddy is at work as well and when baby girl arrived I wasn’t going to let that slow me down. The problem became when I needed to shop at stores that I needed more storage room than my stroller would allow me to have and yet the shopping cart was for two. Sure you could leave baby in her seat and place it in the back of the shopping cart but than all that extra storage space you needed was gone. So I tried baby wearing and I enjoyed that but sometimes its just nice to have two free hands and not have someone strapped to you! When Binxy Baby reached out to me to see if I would like to try one of their amazing shopping cart hammocks I was so excited because I really thought this would be so handy and I was right! Once my hammock arrived I couldn’t wait to get out shopping (no surprise there) and try it out. Now that my baby girl is older and likes to sit up I wasn’t too sure if she would love it but as soon as I put her in it she started smiling and “chatting” … she was so happy! She literally acted like I would if I was lounging in a hammock sipping a nice cold one! The hammock is super easy to “install” with literally two snaps and a velcro. The cool thing about the hammock is you can actually leave sleeping baby in his/her car seat and place the car seat in the hammock so you don’t have to disturb baby but you also don’t have to give up shopping cart space! Binxy Baby also offers some really cute and fun patterns as well as basic black for those of you who like to keep it simple. We love our shopping cart hammock we only wish we had found it sooner! I will definitely be adding this to my “must have” baby items especially for any of my friends transitioning to more than one baby!
